MIAMI SLALOM OPEN 2015
November 13-15
Virginia Key , Miami , FL
Race Format Details :
- (SLALOM) Down wind slalom windsurfing race, 2 to 5 jibe finishing at the beach
- Equipment: no limited only windsurfing gear
- Wind minimum: 11 MPH at the start (race will be canceled if the leader stops planing for 30 seconds)
- 10 is the maximum number of races per day per class, minimum of 3 to complete the championship
- Rules: starts and scoring per ISAF and the Sailing Instructions, Rule 18 as amended by Appendix B
Classes: (minimum of 5 sailors to have a class)
- Open class
- Women
- Juniors(17 and under)
- Kids (12 and under)
- Bic Techno 293 ( same board no restriction on sail sizes but must be Techno Class Sails)
- Kona Class (no restriction on sail sizes but must be Kona Class Sails )

Nov 13 :
- 9-11 am – registration
- 11:30 am – skippers meeting
- 12:00 am – first possible start
- 5:50 pm – last possible start
Nov 14 :
- 9:30 am – skippers meeting
- 10:30 am – first possible start
- 5:50 pm – last possible start)
Nov 15 :
- 9:30 am – skippers meeting
- 10:30 am – first possible start
- 3:50 pm – last possible start
- 4:30 pm – award ceremony
